In the Philippines you don’t have to go to far away. It is almost around the corner…
I’m proud to say that the Philippines is a very, very beautiful country… everywhere you go! But sad to say, people here doesn’t know how to preserve the environment. Out of the 90 million population of the country, very few give importance in preserving the natural resources. Like the mountains in the photo, they’re not green anymore but brown because of the kaingin or deforestation system. And they don’t even give importance in replacing it with new ones. 🙁
Education, education and education.
If you learn young kids to preserve the environment they might do so when they grow old! That is the only way.
That’s true! I just hope the young once will teach the young ones the right way to preserve the environment. I can see many people show or give wrong examples. 🙁
