Charles starts a <a href=\"http:\/\/charles-tan.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/vote-and-recommend-new-short-stories.html\">vote and recommend new stories meme<\/a>. Not being up to date on a lot of works published this year, I&#8217;m afraid I can&#8217;t participate &#8211; but I&#8217;d sure love to know which works everyone else nominates.<\/p>\n<p>Banzai Cat has already posted <a href=\"http:\/\/estranghero.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/best-of-2007-short-stories-meme-since.html\">his recommendation<\/a>. Anyone else?<\/p>\n<p>3. Kenneth of <a href=\"http:\/\/philippinegenrestories.blogspot.com\">Philippine Genre Stories<\/a> says that in the next Manila LitCritters session, there will be a critique session for 3 stories from PGS3. In the same entry, he asks if we could bring up examples of stories that we like (or don&#8217;t like) that may fall under &#8220;Philippine&#8221; fiction, speculative or realist. Read his entry <a href=\"http:\/\/philippinegenrestories.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/write-here-write-now.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>4. <a href=\"http:\/\/deanalfar.blogspot.com\">Dean<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/nikkialfar.blogspot.com\">Nikki Alfar<\/a> post the <a href=\"http:\/\/deanalfar.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/philippine-speculative-fiction-vol3-toc.html\">Philippine Speculative Fiction vol. 3 TOC<\/a>. My story &#8220;The Singer&#8217;s Man&#8221; will be there.
